We have full production capabilities, and can handle full runs for OEM components as well as short runs for replacement finned pipe. Krystal specializes in manufacturing custom replacement welded fin pipes and can accommodate short lead times and expedited deliveries to minimize equipment downtime.
Our welded finned pipes are used in the power generation, petrochemical, oil refining industries and in industrial processing equipment and can be manufactured to meet ASME “U” and “S” stamp certifications. We offer the following welded fin pipes:
1) HFRW Helical Serrated Finned Pipes:
HFRW Helical Serrated Finned Pipes – High frequency serrated pipes are manufactured helically forming a segmented metal strip around a pipe. The strip is welded to the pipe using high frequency electrical resistance welding (HFRW) during the forming process
2) HFRW Helical Non-Serrated (Solid) Finned Pipes:
HFRW Helical Non-Serrated (Solid) Finned Pipes – Non-Serrated finned pipes are used mainly for heat recovery equipment associated with boilers, gas turbines in power generation equipment and furnaces in petrochemical, refining and processing operations.
3) RSW Longitudinal Finned Pipes:
RSW Longitudinal Finned Pipes– Longitudinal finned pipes are used for heat transfer applications in the power generation, power recovery, petrochemical, oil & gas and industrial processing industries.
Krystal’s helical finned pipes are welded using high frequency electrical resistance welding (HFRW), producing a high-quality product in a wide range of metals. Our longitudinal finned pipes are manufactured using resistance spot welding (RSW).
